Description

He did as she said, reached for the prayer mat, spread it out, and led her in prayer. When they finished, he turned to her, held her head, prayed for her, and asked her questions about her religion. She answered correctly, and he was very pleased.
He went downstairs to the parlor and brought back chicken, ice cream, and drinks, placing them down before returning to the kitchen for a tray and cups.
He entered the room, took off his grand robe (babban riga), and chopped the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Quickly, I saw the bride reach out, grab a chicken leg, and start eating.
I thought to myself 🤔: Is this how it’s done?
I heard Alhaji Usman saying, "Won't you let me feed you myself?"
She replied, "I'd rather eat by myself; you know I don't play around when it comes to chicken!" I knew this was true because he brings it to their house every day. She added, "There, see?" as she reached for the chicken breast after finishing the leg.
She pulled the ice cream over, ate until she was full, praised Allah, and moved aside. "Are you full already?" he asked.
"Yes."
Okay, so he ate a little bit, drank some water, stood up, took off his clothes, wrapped a towel around himself, and picked up Jamila. "Go change into your sleepwear and come back here so we can lie down."
Instead of going straight to her room, Jamila took a bath, brushed her teeth, and wore a nightgown that hugged her clean body tightly.
Everything stood out prominently. She dabbed her body with humra (traditional perfume), sprayed sweet-scented fragrances, threw a hijab over it all, and headed to the groom's room.
She knocked and entered just as he was getting onto the bed. He opened his arms and said, "Come to me, baby J."
She stood watching him. When he saw she had no intention of moving closer, he climbed down, took off her hijab, picked her up effortlessly, and carried her to the bed. "Baby J, am I someone to run away from today?" he teased.
As he spoke, he removed her nightgown. She protested, "I don't want to!" But he said, "Well, I want to!"
He reached out, cupped her breasts, took a nipple into his mouth, and began sucking while rolling the other with his hand.
Jamila, enjoying what he was doing to her, pushed her chest out further. Amidst this, Alhaji Usman removed his clothes, covered Jamila with his chest, and began the prayer for marital intimacy.
Jamila opened her eyes wide in shock 😳: "Waiyo Allah!"
"What is it now?" he asked.
"I'm scared."
"Don't worry, it won't take long, I'm almost done." With that, he began entering Jamila. She braced her body, waiting to feel the agony of pain...
Instead, she felt the opposite. She felt only a slight discomfort, and before she even fully processed it, her groom lifted himself up, collapsed onto his side, and began breathing heavily.
A moment later, she heard him snoring softly. Jamila thought: 🤔
"What on earth is this? Is this really what marriage is like? Is he done already?!"
While lost in her thoughts, she heard him say, "Baby J, it wasn't painful, was it? Get up, let's take a bath—or can't you get up?"
She shot him a glare, though he couldn't see it because the room was dark, as the lights had been turned off.
Thinking she would ignore him, she suddenly felt him lift her up, kicking and struggling as he carried her straight to the bathroom.
She took her bath with a long face, finished, and came out. He came out too after he was done.
He lay down on the bed and immediately started snoring. Jamila plunged into a world of deep thought...

Jamila drifted into deep thought: Could this really be what marriage to wealthy men is like?
I remember Hadiza Aminu wasn't like this; on her wedding night, she couldn't even stand up. Her husband had to carry her to the bathroom and bathe her because she was in so much pain and suffering!
Not to mention how he spent the whole night washing her bedsheet because it was stained with blood.
The next morning, she called me and Maryam Yahya. That day, we did all the work while she lay resting, acting all pampered, and he was right there catering to her every whim...
As sleep gradually took over the bride Jamila,
Early in the morning, Alhaji Usman went out for prayer, and upon returning, he went back to sleep. Jamila, who was still on her prayer mat reciting the Qur'an, watched him for a moment.
She continued her recitation until six o'clock. After finishing her supplications, she stood up and saw the domestic staff doing their chores. They greeted her, she responded, and she headed to the kitchen to start preparing breakfast.
By seven-thirty, she was done. She arranged everything on the dining table, went back to her room to take a bath, dried herself, and applied stunning makeup.
She wore a white Shadda outfit with beautiful red embroidery that fit her perfectly.
She tied her headgear (daurin ❝anƙwali), sprayed herself with gorgeous perfume, and walked down to the parlor. She sat regally on the three-seater couch, turned on the TV, crossed one leg over the other, and watched a program on African TV.
Around 9:00 AM, Alhaji Usman came downstairs. He stared at Jamila and said, "Wow, Amarya! With this kind of beauty, you'll make me stop going out!"
Though going out was necessary, she smiled and greeted him. He responded, and she said, "Your breakfast is ready."
"Thanks, my dear wife. You already know how to make breakfast? Well done!"
With his big belly leading the way, they walked to the dining table. They ate and chatted until they finished.
He said, "Baby J, I'm going out to visit one of my cement factories to meet with some white delegates. What do you need?"
"Money!" she replied.
He pulled out two hundred thousand Naira and handed it to her. She thanked him, walked him to the front door, and watched him leave before heading back inside.
As soon as she went in, she called her friend, Maryam Yahya. When Maryam answered, she said, "My friend, how are you?"
"I'm on my way, farsa 😜."
Jamila hissed, "Who are you calling farsa? You're useless, I swear. Please come over right now!"
"The bride is done? I'm on my way. I just stepped out of the bath, let me finish getting dressed, and I'll be there."
As she sat in the parlor eating grapes and apples, shaking her foot, a wave of comfort washed over her.
Baby J, what you asked for has arrived! She heard a knock and quickly rushed to open the door, recognizing Maryam Yahya's voice.
As soon as she opened it, they hugged each other and walked back to the parlor. Once seated, Maryam asked, "Don't tell me nothing happened!"
"Mtssww, why are you always poking your nose into things that don't concern you?"
"Oh, come on, Baby J, is it a real marriage or what? I'm on my way there too!"
Jamila laughed. "I didn't go there, I swear."
They both laughed, and Jamila said, "Maryam, there is a serious problem!"
"A problem?"
"Yes, I swear." Maryam asked, "What's the problem?"
Jamila continued, "Remember when Hadiza Aminu got married? We were the ones who helped her clean her house and brought her food, but she couldn't even walk properly! She was crying so much she even had a fever, it was so pitiful. Isn't that right?"
"Yes, exactly."
"So why is my experience so different from hers?!"
"Well, Jamila, you have to understand that Hadiza married a young man in his prime—healthy and youthful. Your husband, on the other hand, except for his massive potbelly and fat, what else does he have?"
"And don't forget, you wanted money, and God gave it to you. So you just have to be patient with what you see. You can never compare the physical energy of a young man with that of an older married man. What Hadiza's husband can do on the bed, your husband couldn't even manage if your life depended on it!"
"All I'm saying is, be patient. You know nowadays, marriage isn't about love anymore; it's about money. People like you are the ones marrying without love. Hadiza, look at her—she had a love match."
Jamila agreed, "I swear, true. Hadiza lives in a family house, but she doesn't care about anything because her husband shows her love, gives her attention, and above all, satisfies her marital rights 🙈."
Maryam replied, "Yes, everything you listed is true, Hadiza gets all of that."
"But look at you, even a bicycle he hasn't bought you, while in your family you totally broke records because no bride ever had a car brought as part of her bridal gifts except you! Haba, my friend, what did you ask for and not get?"
Jamila said, "Nothing. In fact, just now before he left, he gave me two hundred thousand Naira just in case I wanted to buy something before he returns."
"Oh, really, my friend?!"
"Yes, of course!"
"So where is my share?"
Jamila laughed, "I love how impatient you are! You know very well you'll get your share."
"Well, I better speak up before someone else takes what's meant for me!"
"True. Let me go get it for you."
"That's my girl!" Jamila went to her room, brought out fifty thousand Naira, and handed it to Maryam. Maryam was ecstatic, grinning from ear to ear.
They continued chatting until after afternoon prayers, when Maryam left. As for Alhaji Usman, he didn't return until 11:00 PM.
By then, Jamila was starting to fall asleep. Hearing him come in, she got up to welcome him. He said, "Ah, baby J," and tapped her face. "Look how late I am!"
"I swear, I was busy chatting with friends." In a sweet, seductive voice, she added, "I was all alone, waiting for you."
"Sorry, my baby, I'm back. But I'm so tired, I swear. Let me just take a bath and go to sleep."
"Sleep?!"
As he walked upstairs, he said, "Yes, I'm just too tired."
Jamila looked down at herself. She was wearing a pure white, semi-sheer nightgown that left very little to the imagination, drenched in exquisite perfume. Was all of this going to waste just like that?!
Feeling utterly disappointed, she tossed the remote aside, dragged her feet, pushed open his door, and walked in. She found that he had already finished his bath, climbed onto the bed, spread out his massive belly, and was already snoring loudly—even letting out a snort in his sleep.
Lol.
Overwhelmed by bitter grief, Jamila slammed the door shut and left the room. She retreated to her own room...

Truly, you are worthy of praise; your love means so much to me. I lack words to express my gratitude, I can only say may Allah preserve our bond. This chapter is yours, do whatever you like with it, it belongs to you 👍👍.
When she returned to her room, she lay on the bed and thought: Can I, Jamila, really endure this kind of life?
You think that once you get married, you'll join the league of married women who live luxuriously and enjoy life to the fullest. But alas, it's not like that at all!
As for money, there is plenty of it in Alhaji Usman's house. But me? God created me with high desires and strong passions, and I kept myself pure until marriage.
I got married intending to enjoy a blissful life! Instead, I see the exact opposite!
Does having money mean I have to suffer like this? She went back and forth with her thoughts until sleep finally claimed her.
When morning came, she completely ignored him. After taking her bath and applying her stunning makeup, she stayed put in her room.
She opened the mini-fridge in her room, pulled out cake and juice, ate, and washed it down with juice. Pulling out her phone, she opened WhatsApp, went into a group, and began reading a book titled Anfa Muhimmanci Budurci. She was enjoying her reading when she heard Alhaji knocking on her door, calling out, "Baby J! Baby J!"
Ignoring him, she heard him push the door open and walk in. "Haba, baby J! You hear me calling and you ignore me!"
She put on a straight face. "What is it?"
"All this attitude—is it all for me?"
"Well, what did I do?"
"Let me send the driver to buy you some food, okay? Tell me what you want."
She ignored him again. He gently pinched the tip of her nose, slipped his hand into his pocket, pulled out three hundred thousand Naira, and placed it right on her lap.
"Baby J, I'm going to Lagos. My flight takes off at 11:00 AM, but I won't sleep over, I'll be back later today."
"May Allah protect you."
"Baby J, aren't you going to see me off today?"
"Nope." He chuckled, turned, and walked out with a smile on his face.
That was how Jamila spent her first week of being a bride—without getting any of the fulfillment she craved. However, she was stacking up money; her bank account was looking very healthy.
I see Jamila standing with her hands on her waist, shaking her foot, while Alhaji Usman sits watching her.
He asked, "Wai, baby J, what is your problem? I'm trying to go out, but you've been blocking me since earlier, pouting and getting upset."
"Of course I have to act like this! Honestly, I am tired, I swear."
"Ever since I came to this house, whenever you return, all you do is go straight to sleep and snore. How long have I been in this house, how many times have you been intimate with me?"
"Just four times! And that's under the guise of me being a new bride, you just finish up quickly, move to the side, and lie there panting like someone who just performed a miraculous feat 😏!"
"Oh! So you're even talking back to me? Am I your mate? Well, you've enjoyed enough anyway, I just don't want to hurt your feelings, that's why I only bothered with you four times in three months! As for me, I can't take this anymore, I swear!"
"Then either you shape up, or—"
"Or what?"
"Or you divorce me!"
"Fine! Go back to your parents' house, I divorce you! Get out, white-chest!"
Furious, she rushed to pack her clothes, dragged her suitcase out, loaded it into her car, and drove off. She didn't stop until she reached her family house.
Entering the house, she collapsed in front of Inna and burst into tears.
Inna asked, "What is the meaning of this, Jamila? What happened? You come here and sit right in front of me, crying your eyes out."
While they were at it, Mallam walked in. Inna said, "Thank goodness you're here, Mallam. Make her tell you the reason for her crying, since she refuses to tell me."
Mallam sat close to Jamila and asked, "Are they talking to you? What happened to you? Where is the master of the house? Did something happen to him?"
Jamila wiped her nose and said, "He divorced me."
Inna gasped, clutching her chest, "Divorced?! Oh, my goodness! What kind of curse is this?!"
Lol.

Dedicated to Me Dambu.
Today marks my wedding anniversary. I want all my fans to join me in celebrating as well as in prayers. I pray this day is another start of yet another love-filled journey!
Mallam invoked Allah's name, prayed for protection, and said, "May Allah make this the best outcome." Inna echoed, "Amen."
While they were speaking, they heard Alhaji Usman greeting them at the door. Mallam responded and permitted him to enter. When he came in, he greeted Inna and Mallam.
Turning his gaze to Jamila, he pleaded, "Please, baby J, forgive me. I swear to God I love you, I cannot live without you. Please, help me and let's go back home."
"It was the devil's whisper and anger, please—"
She cut him off, "Go back where? After your marriage to me has already ended?"
Mallam, who had been listening to them, cleared his throat and asked, "What is going on here? You two tell us what happened. Alhaji Usman, what is going on?"
Alhaji Usman replied, "Mallam, we were living in absolute peace. Jamila was treating me wonderfully, I never had any issues with her. Even we don't really know how it happened—suddenly my mouth just uttered the word of divorce to Jamila."
Mallam said, "Glory be to Allah! So now you are saying she should get up and follow you back to restore the marriage?"
Alhaji Usman hastily replied, "Yes!"
Terrified, he suddenly clutched his head and stared at Jamila because of Mallam's follow-up question: "How many divorces have taken place?"
Sweat began to pour profusely from under Alhaji's cap. Mallam repeated the question. Alhaji whispered, "It is a triple divorce, Mallam. Things have completely fallen apart."
"In that case, Alhaji Usman, there is no marriage between you and Jamila anymore unless she marries someone else first, and if Allah wills, she might return to you later!"
"But right now, there is no marriage between you two. That is why our Prophet warned us not to make decisions while in a state of anger."
"That's true, Mallam, there's nothing else to be done," he said, fanning himself with his cap. Innalillahi, woe is me!
Inna and Mallam offered him words of comfort and advice, since their daughter was the one affected by his current state. After calming down somewhat, he finally left.
Before leaving, however, he dropped money for them. While they were thanking him, he called Jamila to the porch (zaure), told her to be patient, and promised that by the grace of God, he would find a way to fix it. He gave her a large sum of money as well and told her he would keep calling her to check up on her.
He left, but for Jamila, worldly life felt scorching hot. Even though Alhaji Usman had provided everything for her—food, clothes, gorgeous makeup, and all sorts of drinks delivered every couple of days—and kept sending huge sums of money to her bank account, that wasn't what she wanted!
With only two weeks left of her waiting period (iddah), her anxiety and Alhaji Usman's went through the roof.
Since they hadn't found a solution yet, Jamila called him crying every day, and he would put on a brave face, though he was dying inside.
One day, Alhaji Usman was lying down, lost in deep thought. Suddenly, he muttered, "Yes, this is the solution!" A smile broke across his face. He got up, left the house, got into his car without even telling his driver, and drove straight to his car wash.
It was a popular spot where people could sit, catch some breeze, and be served drinks. When Alhaji arrived, he asked for the man in charge, and shortly after, the man came out, greeted Alhaji Usman, and was addressed as "Dan Liti."
"Dan Liti, are you doing well?"
"I'm doing great, Alhaji. Are we washing this car today?"
"Yes, Dan Liti, let me go sit down so I don't waste your time."
"Do your best, Dan Liti."
As Dan Liti washed the car, Alhaji kept his eyes on him, deep in thought.
When Dan Liti finished, he brought the keys over. "Alhaji, here are the keys, I'm done."
"Masha Allah, you're done already?"
"Yes, Alhaji."
Alhaji reached into his pocket, pulled out a generous amount of money, and handed it to Dan Liti, who started thanking him profusely. Then Alhaji pulled out his business card, gave it to Dan Liti, and said, "Call me tomorrow using this number, I'll tell you where we can meet. I want to see you."
"Alright, but I hope everything is okay, Alhaji? Did I do something wrong?"
"No, I swear, Dan Liti. I need a favor from you."
"What kind of favor could I possibly do, seeing as I have nothing?"
"Don't worry, by the grace of God you can do it. I chose you because I believe you're the best fit for this."
"Just tell me what you need."
"I want you to marry my wife!"
Dan Liti's eyes went wide 👀. "Marry who?!"
Wait... Fans, is Alhaji Usman really asking Dan Liti to marry his wife?!
Hehehe, as for me 🤷‍♂🤷‍♂

Dedicated to Firdausi Aminu.
"Alhaji, I don't understand you. How can I marry your wife? Since when do people marry someone else's wife like that?"
"And Alhaji, look at this situation properly! How can a young guy like me marry your wife? She's old enough to be my mother, or even give birth to me!"
Alhaji Usman smiled. "All your questions are valid, and you're right about what you said. First of all, when I say 'my wife,' I mean the woman I divorced whom I want you to marry."
"You will stay with her for a short while, then divorce her so she can return to me. Because right now, she has become forbidden (haram) to me, and I want you to make her lawful for me again."
"Because it was a triple divorce between us. And as for her being old enough to be your mother or give birth to you, she's not my first wife, she's a new bride!"
"Besides, I reckon she's not even up to twenty-four years old."
Dan Liti said, "If I understand you correctly, you guys want to do an Auren Kisan Wuta (a temporary marriage of convenience/halala)?"
Alhaji patted him on the back and said, "Spot on, Dan Liti! You caught on."
"That's exactly what I want!"
"I hope you will cooperate with me. You won't spend a long time together, I will take care of everything, I'll pay you well, and you both can live in one of my houses."
"How about that?"

Summary
